I took my motor off of the pallet is was mounted to for shipping today to hang it on the plane.

I noticed that the inside of one of the holes for the motor mount bolts was scored by the bolt that was holding it to the mounting bracket on the pallet.

Is this a problem? This one is the worst, but at least one other hole has some scoring in it.

Jesse,
That will be fine.

When you hang the engine you'll score it up a little more!
They put plenty of "meat" around those holes for a reason.

Go find something else to worry about

Good luck on hanging the engine. That's a big "feel good" step for sure.

The engine loads are taken by the clamp-up to the machine surface in the picture in order to have the engine mount rubber cups issolate the vibration from the airframe. The hole should be a fairly large clearance hole to the bolt and therefore not being loaded.

I didn't really think it was a problem so I went ahead an hung the engine anyway assuming I'd take it right back off if it were.

This is my first build and certainly appreciate expert advise!!

Mark, you're absolutely correct! It is a feel good thing!

Couldn't resist sticking the prop on too, just to have more to toast to with a cold brew! Of course, the prop will be coming right back off and safely packed back up and put out of the way until a future date!
