Happy New Year's Eve Everyone:

I am working on the trim tab of my RV-10 and the plans call for gluing PVC foam ribs to the inside using tank sealant (Pro-Seal). Well, I used all the tank sealant I had gluing the elevator trailing edge and ribs in yesterday. I have some JB Weld on hand and would like to continue to work but don't want to do the wrong thing. According to the JB Weld website, it is compatible with PVC but not with vinyl (aren't they the same?). I want anyone's educated opinion about the long term ramifications.

Thanks in advance.

Too brittle?

Joe... I think JB Weld would be too brittle for that application.

It would seem like a somewhat flexible bonding agent would best, like ProSeal... :)

Any other builders near you have any??
