During my first flight yesterday, I noticed a problem with the MAP readings on my D100. They are consistently "nervous". constantly moving around and never stable on one number, even in a stabilized condition. While most of fluctuation is within 1", I noticed swings of as much as 3" while in a stable cruise.

Tomorrow I will be doing my first flight engine inspection and will check for possible leaks. Assuming the connections look good, any suggestions on a problem area? I am guessing it may be a defective sensor (it is brand new).

Did you put a restrictor in the line?

I did not and just now made one, thanks to your suggestion. I appreciate the help!

I should have known better, as I made custom fuel injection setup on my 911 and had to create an elaborate damper system to stabilize the MAP readings.
