Anybody file international flight plans with the Ipad/Foreflight or fltplan.com? Any special tip or tricks? We are headed to the Bahamas soon.

I have filed IFR from the US to another country with FltPlan.com many times and it works fine other than many international fixes are not in the FltPlan.com database. You will probably have to file a flight plan directly with the country of origin for a return or local flight.

Filing with Foreflight works in the Bahamas

Filed my IFR flight plan to return from the Bahamas last night using Foreflight as usual. Called clearance from the FBO this morning to ensure they got it and sure enough they did. Therefore I would assume other methods of electronic filing would work also.

That is good to know. I wonder if it works from Mexico
