I'm to that stage of the game where I need to invest some serious time into an engine search. I've been looking for a while online at all the salvage places and the Barnstormers, etc. My desire was to find a used IO-360 on its first run with about 500 left.

My interest has now been piqued by Aerosport, and I found a list on their website with a guy named Charles in Sugar Land, TX who bought one for his RV-8. A search on VAF member's list did not return anything. Does anyone know this guy? I'd really like to chat with him or with anyone else who is flying an Aerosport.

Hello Jeff,
I have an RV8 powered by an IO-375 (195hp) and I am pleased with.
The engine is really smooth, highly experienced folks who came in the plane said that they never saw an engine running as smooth as this one (except for turbines).
Engine is equipped with a dual electronic ignition (LSE) and here are some numbers I have (they could still be off by few knots) :
200+KTAS @100%
185KTAS 7,4GPH @8500ft
165KTAS 5,6GPH @8500ft
