Gents,

I recently purchased Flyboy's Internal Rudder Stop.

I realize their web-site states it is acceptable to install the stop either above or "between" the lower hinge brackets.

Specifically, I'm wondering if anyone has installed their stop "BETWEEN" the lower hinge brackets, and has there been any clearance issues or concerns by doing so? Most pictures I've seen show the installation above/on-top of the upper lower hinge bracket. However, since I have not yet riveted the hinge brackets onto the aft VS spar, I would prefer to install the rudder stop "between" the brackets provided it will not create clearance problems as I progress further in the build process.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or recommendations!

I have one between the brackets on my -10, from a piece that I cut out. I had to belt sand it to fit between the brackets....works well.

Best,
