Intermittent problem where the Manifold Pressure stays at a high setting (24 usually) when the engine is throttle back. Next take off or flight all is back to normal.

Have a GRT setup with the MAP-01 sensor plumbed into cylinder #3.

Thinking either a leak or the plastic line to the sensor is blocked trapping the sensor at the high reading.

Setup is Vans braided line from the cylinder #3 to Vans bulkhead fitting passing through the firewall and a thin plastic line to the MAP-01 sensor.

Cannot find any loose connections or abnormalities in the line to the sensor.

Thoughts ?

Did you take the line off and clean it?

Small line could plug up easiely.

Let us know what you find.

No, the braided line is quite large and the thin plastic line from the bulkhead fitting is transparent, can't see a blockage.

However, I will take your advise and completely disconnect and blowout lines.

GRT, says they have never had a failure of the MAP sensor, maybe I am the first.
