I am aware of Jon Johanson?s adventures, a RV-7 which was flown around the world and heard of other RVs which travelled intercontinental.

Do we have pilots here on this board, who also used their RVs for intercontinental journeys? I am curious.
Personally, I always dreamt of flying from the US to Germany, where I am originally from. The RV-10?s useful would actually allow us to install an auxiliary tank for such a trip ? who knows, maybe I can realize my dream one day.

I am interested to hear about your adventures. :)

Google knows all......almost!!!!

You are NOT alone......there are other slightly unstable people out there to share the limelight with......

.....a bit of Jon's story in his RV-4....at the mothership.....

RV-10's do sound like a good platform....... the belly pod mod could be a decent ferry tank eh? ( or contain a huge flotation raft! :D )

a few guys have put nearly 'wet' wings on their RV's....check out some of Todd Bartrims' ideas at work....
