I need some advice on my Flight-com 403mc intercom.
the squelch is no loner working and reception fads out at altitude.
am i using the right brand of intercom? can the replacement use the same plugin for the wiring? thanks Pat rv7

No way an intercom can fade with altitude. You sure its not the radio squelch?

Flightcom 403 problems

My Flightcom 403 just died on me. The intercom portion worked fine but when I pressed the PTT switch, the volume was full up in both headsets. I used the isolate switch and it worked normally. I called up the Flightcom tech and he verified that, when I used the isolate switch and everything worked normally, that it was indeed the intercom. A new Flightcom 403LS was $170 from Aircraft Spruce. Installed it and now everything works well, again.
