I cant be the only one that wants to find a way to lean my seat back further than the crossbar allows on the -7A can I? Im almost 6' 2", 205 lbs - big, but not huge. I am more comfortable removing the cushion on the seat back and leaning against the bare metal because it lets me recline another inch or two. Ugly!

Can any one share a modification of the crossbar they did that let them lean back a little further while maintaining structural strength ? A little bit would help me a lot.

Just a thought or two..

Before I would modify the cross bar, I'd think about notching the seat back side angles. Also, you've probably already taken off the hinged gizmo that is for setting various seat back angles. I'm only 6'-0" and much lighter, but I find it helpful sometimes to decrease leg room to gain lean-back angle. In other words, if the bottom of the seat is in the fwd. of the three possible positions, the angle of the back can be greatest.
