I was trying to install my de luxe quadrant and it was all a struggle as the bolts didn't align properly. Eventually I disassembled the whole thing and the photos show the back plate clecoed in place on the F864 using the lower holes - as you should be able to see the upper holes misalign by maybe 1/8". Is this a common problem? I could enlarge or elongate the existing holes so that the bolts will sit squarely, but then it'll be a kinda loose and sloppy fit which I'm not too keen on. If I had a bit of sheet the right size and thickness I could remake the back plate and make the holes all line up - is that going to be the best thing to do? Or is the problem the F864?

Thanks

Chris

This part fit OK but....

I did not have your particular problem but once installed find that the levers do not align with the holes in the cable anchor which I fabricated as per plans. I will have to remake this part. You will also have to modify the console cap so that it will fit over the quadrant. There will be a gap, which I do not find unacceptable. If you have not already drilled the fore and aft anchor points for the console, you can modify the cap to eliminate the gap first and then install.
