I'm removing all my steam gauges and going with Dynon's Skyview. I'm going to take tach readings from the mags. What am I supposed to do with the tachometer connection on the engine? Is there a cover I can get or should I use some sort of transducer for rpms?

Remove it...

Remove the cable. Spruce and Avery have a small screw on cover for about $10.
