I've had an nagging squeal on my #1 com when transmitting. My existing antennas were of no recognizable brand. This particular antenna did not accept a BNC type connector but required terminal rings for connection.
I replaced both com antennas with RAMI AV-17's. I decided to relocate the aft antenna forward so both antennas sit abreast with appropriate separation. I like the new configuration and no more squeal!![Big grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
I also made access openings and covers in the seat pan area to facilitate future antenna maintenance.
