I'm in the process of painting my 9A and I'm curious what others have done, with regard to the inside cowl surface. I have primed it with an epoxy gray (polyurethane) primer that I'm using. Is there a High Temp/Fuel resistant paint available that works well as a top coat for this?
I want it to be white and I can't find anything specific. Should I just use my white Poly that I'm using on the rest of the plane?

I just used a rattle can of hi-temp engine paint from the auto parts store. Seems to be holding up just fine. As long as you put the heat shield material on the lower cowl, I don't think the rest of the cowl gets hot enough to matter what type of paint you use.
