Page 18-04. Simple process, rivet the bracket to the inboard nose rib. I've ruined two so far. After squeezing the rivets I noticed a gap between the bracket and the rib. I drilled it all out and it's not the rivet squeezing between the parts. The rib puckers a bit and causes the gap. I'm setting the rivets contrary to building practice(I'm putting the manufactured head on the thicker side) for fear of interference with the rivets on the control bracket next to it. Any suggestions on getting the bracket flat or is this nothing?

Jorge,
I wondered about the same thing...found out that there is enough clearance remaining if the rivets are set with the manufactured heads on the thin material side (nose rib).
