During replacement of my Skyview unit (for cause) I removed the F-00028 instrument panel to gain access to the stab trim adjustment screw. While the panel was pulled aft, I noted the large nut that secures the Ignition key switch to the panel in the AV-50002 module to have completely backed off. It was lying loose on the printed circuit board contacts on the aft side of the board, where it could have potentially resulted in a short circuit, possibly energizing the starter in flight. I reinstalled the nut on the switch using Loctite.
