I sent my Icom A200 back to Icom America in Washington State. Turn around time was about a week which I think was very reasonable.

All issues covered under warranty and only had the shipping cost on the return.

My complaint was you couldn't get the sidetone adjusted to a proper level. I never did feel that the radio was working 100% so thought now was a good as time as any to send it in for repair.

They replaced the sidetone pot and adjusted the mike pot. Found the antenna jack was loose and repaired, and re-trimmed the local oscillator for more accurate frequency.

Kudos to ICOM for taking care of business.

Good service

I too sent my A210 in about 4 months ago. I was pretty surprised how fast they got it done and shipped back.

Speaking of Icom. If anyone screws up one of those computer type ribbon tapes that come with the Icom A-210..................they are only a buck a piece from Icom. You take the lid off the radio, and it unplugs the same as the front panel.
