When we started building our RV-6A I bought a large box of ice cream sticks from a craft store for odd jobs in construction. I'm still using them and they have been very useful and one of the most multifunction tools I had. Most often I stood them on edge and cut a sharp wedge on one end. They can be used to remove tape etc. (sacrificial fingernail substitutes) with out damaging the aluminum. I drilled a hole in one and taped another to it for use as a drill guide to control hole placement from edges (Hole to hole alignment and edge distance). I literally used hundreds of them and it is amazing how often you have applications for them. After using them again to remove the old fuel labels last night I thought they deserve a mention.
