Has anyone tried hydro dipping, water transfer painting on parts such as an instrument panel or spinner.
It looks like a slick method of applying a unique look to small parts.
Durability and resistance to cleaning could be an important factor.
Lots of demo videos are on the web.

I had my 2 cold air naca ducts done, they look awesome but have not been outside and not flying yet.

My panel and several trim pieces around the cabin are dipped. I cleared them myself with house of colors clear coat. If I built 10 more, they would all be dipped. Do it.

I had my panel done. Very happy with it but I'm not flying yet, so I can't talk about the durability. It was sprayed with 2 coats of clear.

I did the "radio surround" and console on my pick-up a couple of years ago. Really LOVE it! Beautiful and durable.

Did my instrument panel and about a year later and 250 hours, still looks new! Really happy with it
