I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to route (and securely attach) the sensor wires that go up to under the flywheel.

Does anyone have some pictures of how they routed the wire from under the flywheel back to the oil pan? Or did you go over the engine?

The wire is attached to the sensor, so to go through the baffling would require some large holes.

I have spent the last 6 hrs trying different routings, and I am not happy with any of them.

Thanks,

Hi

There is a photo on my blog under Engine prep before big start up four pages back in the older posts. I routed mine over the top secure by three p clips, then out through the rear baffle, along the engine mount to the firewall. It keeps the wiring runs shorter.

Routed mine underneath the #2 and #4 cylinders. I slit a piece of thick-walled tubing and secured around the wires where they got near the flywheel as an anti-chafe guard.

1100 hours and running without a hitch (there anyways).
