Hi,
Anyone know the best way to power a Garmin 496 at home..I don't see a wall charger available just an expensive 12v cigarette plug style wire accessory. Thanks!

11-35VDC, but you’ll need a power cable
Fused with a 1.5Amp fuse, so a supply with that capacity.

Wall charger or 12v cigarette lighter socket, both these came with my Garmin gpsmap. See attached picture for what they look like. I think you should be able to find one on eBay.
