I found a way that seems to work for those of us over 25 and taller. I installed the seat incline panel with 2 screws, then two large pillows in the pilot seat area, and a two large towels on the floor area. I then got in ( again ) and could put my legs under the cross member and lay forward with my head near the front tunnel. I could then work under the dash much easier. Worked better than I thought. The pillows protected from the incline 'cutting' into your side as you are working under the dash. Try to think of all the tools you might need, or have a helper close by so you don't have to get in and out too many times.

The wiring clamps under the dash and running wires etc. works much easier this way. I'm sure putting the pedals back in will be much easier this way also. ( but I'm NOT putting them back in again until I have to now ).
