I finished the HS skeleton this weekend, and I smoothed and deburred all the components. I tried to upload pictures of the proper size, but the site kept giving me an unspecified error message. What I'm wondering is, are my parts and edges smooth enough? Here's a link to my kitlog site:

Could I get some feedback on the workmanship so far? Look under the 1/15/06 listing and click on the pics of the doubler/spar attachments. Thanks ahead of time.

Well, I would say that no picture will be able to help describe if the edge deburring is sufficient, but here is my test: Can you rub your finger along each edge (both sides) and not feel a sharp edge? If so, that is good. If you find a spot that if rubbed hard enough could cut you, give it another pass.

Here's a great series of articles that should be required reading.

Look under the "How To" section. Lots of great information including edge finishing. I think Budd uses the "won't snag pantyhose" test. I use Scott's "won't draw blood" test since band-aids are cheaper than pantyhose (plus Ellen would SO kill me).
