Can anyone give me an approximate amount of RTV that will be needed for the fabric seal and baffles on a IO360?

For the detail bunch out there, assume it is a neat job, without a bunch of large gaps, application will be sufficient without skimping or glopping it on. You know - just right.

btw - ultra copper is running 4.94 for a 3oz tube now at the discount auto parts stores now.

RTV Usage

I used the red hi-temp RTV from Aircraft Spruce. As I recall fot the basic baffle installation I got it done on one tube, But my practice on RTV is always buy an extra tube. So I would think two tubes would be the right amount to buy if you want to be conservative.

RTV for baffles

I bought two tubes of the hi-temp red and even with a couple large gaps, I still have one unopened tube.
