While the oil is draining out of the Valkyrie for her 1260 hour fluid change, I got to wondering how many high-time -8's there are out there - and what actually constitutes "high time". Danny King and I compared notes at LOE, and the Val had just passed the Doll at the time - but I am curious where the "fleet leaders" are by now.

Remember, first lier doesn't stand a chance - I've put mine out there!;)

Still looks young

I just watched the HOBBS turn 1200 and she's still looking good as ever.

Iron,
I don't have a cabin in California to commute back and forth to, but the Doll is just a mere 50 hours behind you.

When summer arrives, I might take you up on your kind offer to visit your mountain hideout.

Just passed 900 hours today

I just passed 900 hours on my RV-8 today. I finished it 4.5 years ago and have enjoyed every minute. My plane seems to be holding up very well and still looks like new. What a great machine!!

N421RT has just under 150 hours on the hobbs and it's only been completed and flying for 6 months!

835 on the airplane, the last 300 by me. It's turning out to be the F-4 I never got to fly in the Gyrine Corps. Love it!!
