What do I need or what do I jab to bring up HITS, aka "Pathways"? Should be somewhere, but I haven't found it. G3X v9.0 sourcing a GTN650 and driving a Trio Pro Pilot. Poking through the configuration and menu/menu screens doesn't show me a choice for "pathways" presentation.

How do I dial up HITS?

Per the pilot's guide:

Activating and deactivating pathways TOUCH VERSION:
1) Touch the Attitude Indicator or HSI to display the PFD Options.
2) Touch More Options.
3) Touch and drag to scroll down.
4) Touch Pathways to toggle on and off.

Activating and deactivating pathways NON TOUCH VERSION:
1) From the full-screen PFD and/or the split-screen PFD Page, press the MENU Key.
2) Move the FMS Joystick to highlight the ‘Pathways’ field.
3) Turn the FMS Joystick to highlight ‘On’ or ‘Off’.

Set altitude

You must also set an altitude. For a few flights I could not understand why I could only get pathways to show if I used the AP. It turned out it was because using the AP I set the altitude. Of course you can set the altitude without turning the AP on, but it took some playing around and reading the manual to make it obvious to me.
