Curious for construction in my garage but can someone with a -14 on its gear measure the height of the open canopy? I won't install the gear 1st if I can't open it up all the way once on wheels.
@Av8rRob I don't have the measurement but I'll relay some advice from a number of builders: hold off on installing the gear for as long as possible as once you do it becomes a hassle to work inside the canoe.
I have approximately a nine foot clearance in my garage and on the gear the canopy would just touch the ceiling. So it is just over 9' but less than 9' 1".
