Strange question, perhaps, but I don't find it easy getting out of the plane, without rucking the carpet. I feel the panel needs a handle of some sort to pull yourself up. Several other folk have sat in my plane (still grounded) and have experienced similar difficulty.

Cheers...Keith

I'm tall (6') and don't have a whole lot of trouble; when I'm in the left seat, I pull my legs up so that my feet are resting on the ledge in front of the seat, then I put my right hand on the cross bar that the seat backs rest on, my left hand on the door frame and push up. Then I sit on the door frame, put my left foot on the step, and swing my other leg onto the ground. My partner is about 5'3"" and has more difficulty, but he does a variation of what I stated.

I have been told that you could literally walked into the airplane standing up. Can you do the same by standing up and stepping out.
