Hi Guys dose anyone know, or has anyone seen a RV-4 horizontal stab bolted on with AN4 bolt where the rear spar attaches to the fuse "bars"?
In my parts collection I have a decent horizontal stab that was drilled to another project. the rear bolts are very close to fitting but would need to be up drilled to an4 for proper holes? I guess the next option would be replace the "bars" in the fuse

I mis-drilled one of mine and up sized them to AN4. I talked to van before I did it and he said no problems as there is plenty of edge distance.

Edge distanceis the key here ifyou have enough no problem..... if not then dont do it.
