Working on installing the Harnesses in my RV-14A.

Hooker has installed a bushing in the lap belt portion of the harness. To use that I'll have to pull the attach points apart a decent amount.

Is it better to do that, or to drill out the Hooker bushing and make my own?

I.e. how is everyone else installing the harnesses?

Thanks,

I ended up using a Dremel and sanding down the bushings on both sides until barely wider than the belt attachment. Still a tight fit but very manageable.
