Just a heads-up for any -8 builders planning to use Hooker harnesses and a Classic Aero interior ...

I have the stock Classic Aero Aviator package in Smokey, and am quite happy with it. However, I noticed immediately that the front seat crotch strap was too long, and placed the latching mechanism (rotary) at my navel when shortened to the max.

Scott McPhillips at Hooker told me to send the strap in and they'd shorten it for free, which they did. However, if you are planning the same setup, you might consider ordering the crotch strap shortened from the beginning and save yourself the shipping.
