#6 was running as much as 50 degrees hotter on the trip back from the Indy Air Show at Mount Comfort (now Indianapolis Regional). I had to run the plane much richer than I liked to keep the heads close to the same low temps.

Yes, the plane sat for three days on the ramp without cowl plugs and yes I eyeballed in the inlets and oil door before departing. I saw lots of poop, but no nesting. I figured I was OK.

It only took me about 2 hours to clean out the grass. After flying home, the nesting was a little extra compacted.
