Looking for input on my fuel pressure reading.
I have just completed the first two engine starts on my lycoming o360 with carb.
Readings are via a Dynon 120 EMS.
Pre-starting I note that fuel pressure comes up to about 5psi with boost pump on. Boost off, the pressure virtually stays pressurized. Should I expect at least a slow visual drop off of pressure? I did notice that pressure will drop down to around 2psi in a couple days. Not sure if this is normal..
Second question is after engine start, pressure dropped to the green zone (2-4) while engine was running. Problem is on the second start couple days later and temps around 30F, the pressure stayed at 6. 8 is reported max and so running at 6 worries me. Any ideas or comments on this?
