So I to have fallen into the dreadful dilemma of the minimum edge distance on the HS-404 tab using the HS-405 holes that I drilled earlier in the build sequence.

From the picture the hole need to be where it marked in red rather than were it is drilled. I have not drilled through the HS-702 front spar yet so do I reorder a new HS-405 at this point? Or can I take one of the two doubler ?s I made and use it to drill the hole where it should be? Of course I would need to step up the length of the rivet if I used the doubler option.

Open to any and all comments.

Hey Michael......I made a boo boo on one of my 405's also. I am sure the doubler would work.....but rivet length would have to be recalculated. I decided to pay the $10 and get a new one.....but that was my call, I just
figured it would be easier and I would "feel better" about it.

Of course, I am the worlds leading expert on my own opinion! :)

On that drilling, I first laid out all the parts and then took out my calibrated optical receptors, ( eyeballs ) too line up the best point to drill.
