Ok, I have had this question before the RV-4 folks for about a week and need to access a wider base, I think.

I am in need of titanium tie-downs and am looking specifically for those with the tree-spike/plate configuration.

Anyone know where these can be obtained??

Non-titanium tie-downs

I know you said titanium, but there are some
good steel tie-downs at the following website.

I called them shortly before OSH a few years ago
and they sent the tie downs before they received
my check to be sure I had them in time for OSH.

What is the advantage of titanium?
My whole tie-down kit weighs 6 pounds
and each leg is good for over 1000 pounds.

I am going to order a tie-down set for my
RV when it gets done.

I made a set of tiedowns shown in the EAA website. They are like the Flyties but can be made from hardware store stuff. The titanium ones look kinda Ultralite. They seem to be advertised for ultralites.
