Hiya Guys/gals,

I am upto step 9 on page 10-09 riviting the F1280 to the lower skin being F1281. However as I cleco it together it looks as though there will be an edge left after rivet. The edge I am concerned about is shown in Figure 2 where the arrow for F-1280-L is pointing.

Did anyone else concern themselves with this? Should I consider creasing the 1280 skins slightly? Or does it pull up ok?

Thanks in advance to any offerings of advice.

Jim, Did you "break the edges" as per Page 10.02 Step 2 (fig1) ?? Makes the edge tuck in nicely!

I believe that edge F-1280-L will be inside of the fuselage skin and will not show. It is not necessary to brake that edge.

Marcus you are spot on. I have not followed those instructions. Glad I asked. Thanks will pull off and fix that!!!!
