I went flying with a buddy of mine today for breakfast -- decided to push it up and see what kind of numbers I could get...Not too shabby, but not as efficient as LOP +50°F which yields 9.7GPH and 170Ktas.

24.8" at 5500, 68deg F?. Seems like that's about 7300 Den Alt. 24" at that DA seams a bit optimistic. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd be double checking the cal on my MP sensor.

I don’t think it’s off.. DA shouldn’t affect MP. You could have a high DA, yet the barometric pressure still high. He’s showing 30.08, you subtract 5.5 for the altitude, seems spot on.

I think he’s going for speed.. if it’s got a Hartzell, they go faster at 2700rpm then lower RPMs.
