I put my battery on the firewall of my 6 and was going to use the battery box inside the cockpit as sort of a manifold with holes in it to distribute the heat but the doggone thing weighs about 6 lbs. I would like to avoid having the weight of the old box but also avoid having just one torrent of hot air blasting aft from the firewall. Has anyone got any experience with ducting the heat from the firewall that would work in this application? Thanks. Jim.
