I am trying to plumb a heated pitot tube like the falcon heated tube that aircract spruce sells. My tube has a 3/16" tube with no fitting. I would like to just slip a tube over the 3/16" tubing. The 3/16" is only about 3" long. I tested the temperture today and it went over 220 F on the bench. How should i connect the pitot tube to my poly tube and not melt my poly tube are what kind of tubing can i use so the heated pitot will not melt the tubing when it's turned on?
