I am looking to buy new headsets for my 12 . Anybody have any recomendations on a reasonably priced headset that will work good with the Flightcom intercom in the 12. ???.

I have been using Comtronics in my other plane for the past 12 years so I really dont know whats out there in the market today.

I had a Flightcom Intercom in my 6 (and my -8A). LIghtspeed QFRXCc (the
ANR version of the QFR) worked great and were very reasonable at around $300. They were stereo, had their own audio input (althought he 12 can
have music thru XM in the 396/496).

Now I use Halo Quiet technology headsets in my -8a. They work great with
the Flightcom and are just as quiet (IMHO) as the Lightspeed Zulus I have
for my wife in the back seat.

I've used the DRE6000 ANR for many years in my Aeronca. I like it. Cost I think was under $400.

PCA II ANR

I use a PCA II ANR headset in my open window Ercoupe and I'm very happy with its' performance in my 62 year old ears. I have a Garmin 396 and the XM stereo 60's tunes come through loud and clear...at least as good as Cascades Approach...at $249. they are an excellent value.
