Hi Everyone,
I’m about to start an -14A empennage and have been studying the Primer forum for some time. I’ve decided to do some priming, primarily on metal-on-metal internal surfaces, but not go the “alodine then Azko spray” route, but some rattle can self-etching primer that has gotten some good reviews on VAF. Likely Rust oleum because it can be purchased locally and easily.

However, I came across this product today, ROC-Prime 100 Hybrid Epoxy Primer, and is really compelling. Single stage water based epoxy meant for an indoor/outdoor industrial environment. I think it's about $135/gal, but 1 gallon should go a really long way. Can be brushed, rolled, or sprayed.
Here’s an overview: https://www.rustoleum.com/product-c...ybrid-epoxy-primer?ls=263501&lc=Gray 1 Gallon

And here’s the tech data: https://www.rustoleum.com/product-c...ybrid-epoxy-primer?ls=263501&lc=Gray 1 Gallon

Curious on your opinions.
Regards,
Rich K
