Hello all!

The lady’s 6A sporting an H2AD with the infamous dual-mag (aka death mag) is up for annual and the mag is needing inspection/overhaul. Only one side of the mag is used for ignition while the other side of the motor is powered by a light speed. I’d very much love to ditch the Frankenmag altogether and replace it with a PMag. Is anyone aware of any adaption/mod for these motors to use a normal mag/Pmag?

Now I do..haha. I had seen some talk about someone creating a adaption and I was wondering if anything had come out over the last couple of years. Thanks again for the info. I may go the 1200 route.

Of note, EMAG says they are working on a solution for this which may be out soon.

I think so too, though the EMAG solution would allow for dual EI without the need for a backup battery
