i was out flying around with a friend on the weekend and lent him a DC h10-30 to use. the noise that it's mic produced was terrible. i could hardly hear anything when i talked through my own Zulu headset. it looks to me that it's the original dynamic mic... is it worth changing over to a 'elec' mic. to help reduce the noise?
any suggestion would be awesome. thanks

Mic Gain

If you look closely at the microhpone, you will find a hole. Inside that hole is a screw that will allow you to turn the gain of the mic down.

That should help
