OK, I apologize for replying to this thread with a new question, but I just couldn't see where to start a new thread!?!?

Anyway, I have a GTX 330 transponder in my new panel from Aerotronics. Not flying yet and I have had if for a year while I finish up things. Has been booted up maybe 25-30 times.
Noticed last week that the display on the 330, while lit, was not displaying anything (but getting power). Thought something had gone awry, but this weekend on the first power up, the transponder came to life with the boot up and displayed normally. Additional boots that day showed the same "no display but lit" scenario.
Before I ship this off to Garmin (yes, via a dealer), is there anything obvious to check before that? I have a VP-200 which is working fine otherwise and is powering the transponder on. All other avionics appear to be operating normally.
