Those in the know on the GRT Sport...

Is the ARINC module out yet?

Will there ever be a "Sport" version of the HX display?

Can you control the 430W OBS setting from the Sport? How about to a SL-30?

Does the Sport integrate well with the SL30? Will it load frequencies to the SL30? Will it take advantage of the standby monitoring of the SL30?

Are there more current manuals than the ones posted on the public section of the GRT website?

What is behind the private section of the GRT website?

I'm pretty sure they said there will not be Sport HX.. As you know, HS version is available, though.

Not sure if they started shipping the arinc module yet, but pretty sure you'd need it to "control" 430W.. of course, serial's all you need for SL-30.

Integrates well with SL-30/40... sends freqs, both individual as well as full list at once... not sure about standby pointer...

as for manuals.. I don't think there are any newer versions.. I can tell you that after a few minutes of playing with the unit, you won't really need 'em either.. (very intuitive interface).

Nothing realy behind the "private" section.. (at least not yet)...

Maybe best part about the Sport is good upgrade policy towards Horizon (if/when you decide to go in that direction).. confirm with GRT, though..this is just hear-say from me

Is the ARINC module out yet?

I spoke with Sandy last week at GRT and she said she had a couple of the ARINC modules in hand, but she was waiting on the harnesses. I also noticed they posted the documentation for the module a couple days ago (http://grtavionics.com/File/Connector Definitions/ARINC 429 External Module - Preliminary .pdf).
