RV Brotherhood:

I am considering installing a GRT EFIS (Sport Model) in my tip up canopy RV-6. I would like to install it so that the center of the unit is smack dab in the middle of where the support that ties the instrument pannel to the sub-pannel. Do you folks have a way to work around this issue?

These support ribs are not "particularly" structural except to support the panel. They may be moved or modified an necessary.
