Hi all did anyone had this problem???
downloaded update file for HX to the flash drive
inserted in EFIS and selected load software from menu
Unit located file and started file check
but failed with error "Package incomplete"

re downloaded file same error on both GRT HX units

after that tryed to instal database update

HX starting update and goes directly to 100% and rebooting
old database deleted new failed to install

For those who will get this problem!!!!
Not all usb flash drives are working correctly in grt
My usb drive was passing usb test ok and buckup worked no problem
But update of software and database wasnt.

Using sundisk usb flash worked perfectly

I've always had great luck using PNY brand flash drives with the GRT EFIS's. The older Horizon WS USB port wouldn't automatically detect some brands, but PNY always seemed to work and they work well on the HS and HX displays too.
