Can somebody that has installed this sensor in a 6 or 7 with an O360 A1A tell me how they did it? Inside the cockpit before the facet fuel pump, or on the firewall / engine? I can not figure out where/how to mount it, what type of fuel line (stainless?) to use to get the required 5" before and 2" after the sensor of straight fuel line.
New to this engine stuff.

I mounted my flo scan right to the gascolator with a double pipe thread nipple. I also supported it with a piece of angle on the firewall. My Gascolator was in the standard RV7 location. The sensor was between the gascolator and the engine driven fuel pump. It worked great, most 30 gallon fillups were within a half gallon of "fuel used".

On the tunnel

I mounted it on top of the tunnel between the fuel valve and the firewall and then built a cover for it. I used a single AN4 bolt to hold it to the tunnel cover. Let me know if you need pictures; I have them.
