Hi all,

I have been reading through the archives about Grove brakes, wheels, etc. Seems like a reasonable upgrade. I am unclear reading Grove's website about which model brakes, wheels, master cylinders and axles are the appropriate fit for an RV 8. Any experience or insights?

I switched to Grove

wheels/brakes/master cyl and very happy with the system. Definate improvement of braking capacity, feels almost like power brakes compared to the originals. I went with the 56-1M (magnesium version of the "A"). I'm pretty sure the wheels are the same on the 8 but the masters may be diffent. Talk to Robby there I'm sure he knows.

Just do the kinetic energy calculation and choose accordingly. Stock brakes are marginal, in particular for an A model.
