I spoke with Gail at Grove Aircraft a few minutes ago. They started a production run of RV8 airfoil gear today (normally done twice each year).

I also spoke with Gail this morning, it appears that this production run is going to be 40 sets of RV-8 gear. Apparently they normally produce 20 sets but demand for the 8 is extremely high. It makes me think that Vans should consider including these in the accessory catalog.

I'm certainly looking forward to recieving mine from this run.

PING. I got my name on the list yesterday. A production run of about 20 is in process. She said they have sold about 8 so far. Delivery from this run expected around Feb.-Mar. 2010.
